The Weekend Menu

Welcome to the latest edition of The Weekend Menu, presented by St. Lawrence Grill Works. We hope that you are having a blessed Advent season. 

Things here at St. Lawrence Grill Works continue to hum along. We’re working to get aprons back in stock and will let y’all know once we do. 

These are the final few days to place an order to arrive before Christmas, and we have a sale running until December 16th — 20% off!  

Here are a few things with checking out this weekend:

1. Explorers Club — I had no idea there was such a club and never imagined how cool a clubhouse could be until I saw this. Now the goal is to become a member, or at least decorate my house like this.

2. Endurance — This is the incredible true story of Ernest Shackleton’s ill-fated expedition and a testament to human endurance. I don’t make a habit of recommending books that I haven’t read yet, but given how many friends have told me to check this out I will make an exception and get to reading ASAP. 

3. Kolache — This is on the Christmas to-do list. For those outside of Texas, you may be unfamiliar with this Czech pastry and how delicious it can be. This video breaks down the history of how it came to Texas and how to make your own at home.
