The Weekend Menu

TLC

Welcome to the latest edition of the weekend menu, presented by St. Lawrence Grill Works.

Our manufacturing partners in Kansas have been hard at work and have the design dialed in. Now they are working on their production process to ensure that each tool that makes its way into your hands is the best product possible. We are closing in on the first production run of spatulas.

Here are a few things worth checking out this weekend:

  1. How to care for cast iron pans — Whether you call it pride of ownership or just protecting your investment, a little TLC can keep quality cookware going for ages. Here’s a guide on how to do it right. And yes, you can use soap.

  2. Jalapeño popper — We brought these to a party recently and they were well received. A jalapeño corer makes the process much easier. Our only adjustment was to season the cream cheese with Trader Joe’s Chili Lime Seasoning.

  3. Guy Clark - “Stuff That Works” — As we have been working on the website and product descriptions, this song keeps coming to mind. Guy Clark is an awesome old school Texas country musician and responsible for many other classic tunes, including Dublin Blues.

  4. "There is a great satisfaction in building good tools for other people to use." - Freeman Dyson

Thanks for being part of the St. Lawrence Grill Works community!

Cheers,
