Welcome to the latest edition of The Weekend Menu, presented by St. Lawrence Grill Works.

It’s hard to believe that fall is fast approaching. It’s almost prime grilling time, and we’re continuing to work hard on getting tools ready for you. Thanks to everyone who’s been holding out on getting new grill tools. We’re getting close to having spatulas ready with more to come.

Here are a few things worth checking out this weekend:

1. Two Dudes One Pan — This cookbook was given to me by a dear friend when he entered the monastery. His family’s farm has supplied the authors’ restaurant. He would cook the bolognese recipe for friends on special occasions. I’ve tried quite a few recipes from this book and all of them have been delicious, but the bolognese is still my favorite.

2. Admiral’s Ferrari — For the classic car lovers out there. A beautifully filmed story of a beautiful car. The admiral owned and thoroughly enjoyed the car for 58 years.

3. Huckberry 365 Pants — These are a great addition to the wardrobe. Comfortable, durable and ready for whatever you you want to throw at them.
